Market Documentation
Technical specifications, security protocols, and operational guidelines for the Nexus infrastructure.
Access & Network Protocols
Nexus Market Working serves as the authoritative status monitor and entry gateway for the Nexus Market infrastructure. We maintain cryptographically verified access points to the marketplace, ensuring users connect via valid .onion circuits. Our system continuously monitors uptime statistics and verifies PGP signatures for all listed nodes to maintain a secure trading environment.
Access is exclusively routed through the Tor (The Onion Router) network to ensure end-to-end anonymity. By utilizing .onion hidden services, traffic is encrypted and bounced through three random nodes globally before reaching our servers. Standard browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) cannot resolve these addresses; the Tor Browser is required for connection. We recommend setting the security level to "Safest" to disable JavaScript for maximum protection.
Authentication is performed via PGP verification. Nexus Market signs a cleartext message containing the current active mirrors using its private administrative key. Users should import the Nexus public key into their PGP software (e.g., Kleopatra, GPG) and verify the signature. A valid signature confirms the server identity. Never enter credentials on a site that fails this verification check.
Financial Operations
The platform processes settlements in Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC).
- Monero (XMR): Preferred asset due to RingCT and stealth address technology, breaking on-chain traceability.
- Bitcoin (BTC): Supports SegWit addresses. Requires 2 confirmations.
- Litecoin (LTC): Low fees and faster block times. Requires 6 confirmations.
Walletless Pay generates a unique, one-time-use crypto address for a specific order at checkout. The buyer sends the exact amount to this address within the 30-minute validity window. Once the network confirms the transaction, the order status updates to 'Processing' automatically. This mechanism minimizes the risk associated with storing residual funds in a centralized market wallet.
Deposits are free of charge. Withdrawals incur a flat 1% network processing fee. This fee covers miner costs to ensure priority confirmation and supports the ongoing maintenance of the platform's infrastructure. The minimum withdrawal threshold is approximately $3 USD equivalent in the chosen cryptocurrency.
Account Security
Nexus Market operates on a strict zero-knowledge basis. Registration requires only a username, a strong password, and a 6-digit numerical PIN. No email addresses or personal identifiers are collected. During account creation, a mnemonic seed phrase is generated. This phrase must be saved offline immediately, as it is the only cryptographic method to recover an account if credentials are lost.
To enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), navigate to your account settings and paste your PGP public key. The system will present an encrypted challenge message. You must decrypt this message using your private key to obtain the verification code. Once verified, 2FA is active. Every subsequent login will require decrypting a unique challenge, rendering the account immune to password compromise.
Vendors & Escrow
Nexus utilizes a centralized escrow system. When an order is placed, funds are locked in a secure wallet. The vendor is notified to ship. Funds remain locked until the buyer marks the order as 'Received' and releases them, or the auto-finalize timer expires (typically 7-14 days). This protects buyers from non-delivery and vendors from fraud.
If an issue arises (e.g., non-delivery, incorrect item), the buyer can open a dispute before the escrow timer expires. A moderator joins the chat to review evidence from both parties, including tracking logs and communication history. The moderator then makes a binding decision to either refund the buyer or release funds to the vendor. Resolution time is typically 24-72 hours.
We enforce a strict harm reduction policy. Prohibited listings include fentanyl and its analogs, weapons/explosives, CP, hitman services, and poisons. Vendors attempting to list these items face immediate bans and forfeiture of funds. The market focuses on digital goods, fraud utilities, and standard controlled substances.
